I Puritani at the Met
January 18, 2026
One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the 25-26 Season, the first new production of Bellini's lyrical masterpiece, I Puritani, since 1976. The masterpiece stars a powerhouse cast. Lisette Oropesa and Lawrence Brownlee — who recently thrilled audiences in Paris in this opera — are joined by baritone Artur Rucinski, and bass-baritone Christian Van Horn with Marco Armiliato bringing an authentic Italian flair to the conducting.

La Traviata at the Met
Albanian soprano Ermonela Jaho is the greatest interpreter of the Violetta Valéry of her generation, singing the role more frequently than any of her contemporaries over the past 15 years. She's joined by the wonderful young lyric tenor Kang Wang and the great baritone Lucas Meachem for a performance you will always remember.
